Why “Sutradhar”… Sutra is the thread, the yarn, the narrative… “dhar “ is holding together, the knot, the weave. Together it is the raconteur, presenter. Hence the epithet!

I always wanted a space to share conversations and stories. I found it and the launch was tailor made. Baisali wrote this beautiful narrative of memories wrapped in sarees and Paramita Saha curated a beautiful piece. We all spoke about our saree journeys. A sharing, a moment. Important for me an unabashed lover of the six yards.
